Elwoods Appliances on Lower Huntington Rd. The starburst GE sign is a famous local landmark, and it still lights up with it's hundreds of flashing lights on the starburst. Strangely, Waynedale has two little appliance stores like this; Sandpoint TV Service is right down the street. Elwoods has had those Scratch & Dent Sale signs in the window for years! There are few other locally owned appliance stores in Fort Wayne.
