On the way back to Fort Wayne from Louisville one day I stopped to get gas at the St. Rd. 18 exit off I-69 near Marion, Indiana. The rural area looked interesting so I drove east on St. Rd. 18 for about 10 miles till I found an abandoned house surrounded by trees. The house was not interesting outside but inside it was one of the most beautiful places I have seen. It was subzero that day so I went back a week later when it was a bit warmer. My car battery died when I was in the house and I was stranded till a State Trooper saw me and took me to the gas station to wait for my father who was coming to jump the car. 10 Photographs |
