the road to indiana portfolio by Christopher Crawford

In July, 2007 I drove across the country from Santa Fe back to my hometown, Fort Wayne, Indiana to pick up my 10 year old son, MacKenzie. Mack stayed a month with me and then we drove back across the country together to return him to his mother. These photographs depict some of the places we passed by on our trip. My son got to see places he'd only read about: the high plains, the Ozarks, the deserts of New Mexico. My son and I don't appear in these images; we took hundreds of snapshots for our own photo album. If you want to see some snapshots of my son in New Mexico, click HERE.
