Pulaski County, Indiana Project by Christopher Crawford

Near the end of April, 2005 I met on the internet a woman who lives in Winamac in Pulaski County in northwest Indiana. She was short and plump with a beautiful round face. That's as close to a dream come true as is possible for a little skinny guy like me. We fell for each other but a little over a month later I got sick from the flu then a kidney stone, spending most of June in and out of doctor's offices and hospitals in Fort Wayne. During that time the girl I had come to love dissapeared from my life. These 42 images are the result of my explorations of this rural area when she was working. I will likely never see her or these places again.
