Clouds hover over the plains along the north side of Interstate 40 in Quay County, New Mexico just east of the town of Bard. This was photographed in August, 2007 as my son and I were driving back to Indiana after his visit to Santa Fe. This photograph and this one were made a couple hundred feet apart. They dramatic difference in the clouds wa a result of high winds that changed the sky as fast as I could photograph!
